We are seeking an HR Advisor to provide effective technical and professional guidance, ensuring our service maintains high standards and meets statutory requirements. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the organisation’s corporate vision and the development of a positive, high-performing culture.
Day to Day of the role:
- Deliver a professional HR advisory service to managers and staff, covering all aspects of HR including terms of employment, recruitment, absence management, and more.
- Stay updated with employment legislation and case law, providing guidance and drafting correspondence as needed.
- Develop communication mechanisms to promote a partnership approach to HR issues.
- Support and coach managers in performance management and organisational development.
- Lead HR policy development to support culture change.
- Analyse management information and prepare reports for decision-making.
- Develop and deliver learning interventions and training on HR policies.
- Collaborate with external providers to manage employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives.
- Participate in cross-service projects and initiatives.
- Work with the Payroll Coordinator and provider to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Promote equality and diversity within the organisation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional HR qualification and membership.
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong communication and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage projects and prioritise workload effectively.
- Experience in policy development and organisational change.
- Proficiency in producing and analysing statistical data.
- Experience working with payroll systems and external service providers.
