Working 26.5 hours a week, you’ll be keeping all areas of a residential care service clean for service users going through their recovery journey. This includes wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitor areas.
Working alongside the housekeeping team, you will follow and promote Elysium’s cleanliness standards to maintain the safety of service users, staff and visitors at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To carry out Housekeeping Operations in line with Departmental Procedures
- To be Pro-Active in helping to further improve our service delivery through liaisons with the Manager
- To Promote and maintain professional relationships within the department and with customers
- To act as a mentor to newly trained staff when required
- To be supportive as a team member, helping to provide a continued service during staff shortages
- To ensure that all Housekeeping tasks are achieved around the needs of the patients
- To adhere to patients guidelines and programmes
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment
- C.O.S.H.H Training
- Enjoy cleaning and get satisfaction from a job well done
- Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively
- Be a good communicator
- Have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
