*** History ECT position, starting September 2024
*** £30,000 per annum
The ideal History ECT will have experience planning and delivering engaging lessons to KS3 & KS4 students, mainly History. As a History ECT you will be expected to prepare students for their GCSE exams as well as internal mocks and spreading a love for history.
During your time as a History ECT you will be incredibly supported by the Head of Humanities who will give you all the tools and equipment you need to plan informative and interactive lessons, he has been with the school for over 4 years and has made the humanities department one of the highest achieving in the school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Humanities or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.
- Proven experience in delivering effective and engaging lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
