Your new role

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our clients friendly and motivated team of staff working in the hospital Wards. You will be responsible for assisting the nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety and dignity. You will also perform a range of clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, collecting blood samples, and inserting cannulas.

This is a part-time role at 30 hours a week, between Monday and Friday. No weekends required. The salary is £21,742.50 FTE plus benefits.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Care Certificate
  • Previous experience in a Healthcare Assistant role
  • Phlebotomy/cannulation competencies desirable but training can be provided.
