Our client are a Data media company specialising within the consumer and retail space, based in Central West London are looking for forward-thinking Head of People, as a key leader in our organization, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our growth through the innovative programs at every stage of the employee journey for our people.
A full time role paying up to £70,000 with hybrid working your key responsibilties will include
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement robust People strategies in line with the company’s vision and objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to align with overall business goals.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Spearhead recruitment efforts to attract top-tier talent. Build and refine hiring processes that identify candidates who not only fit the roles and drive innovation but also embody our company culture. Implement retention strategies to engage and develop our exceptional team.
- Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and productivity. Plan and execute programs, events, and activities that foster a positive work environment.
- Learning and Development Leadership: Spearhead learning initiatives that foster employee growth and skill enhancement. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and curate programs that align with business objectives.
- Performance Management: Design and oversee performance systems that promote and drive employee growth by connecting with our commercial goals and contribute to organizational success. Provide guidance to managers on coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities.
- Culture Cultivator: Champion and nurture a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our values and goals. Lead initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all facets of the organization.
- Diversity and Inclusion Champion: Lead efforts to create an environment that celebrates diversity and fosters inclusivity. Develop strategies that promote a culture where every individual feels valued and respected.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Stay abreast of HR regulations and ensure company-wide compliance. Mitigate risks by implementing best practices and maintaining HR policies that align with legal requirements.
Experience needed
- Proven track record in People/Talent/HR leadership roles, ideally within a Data/Tech/retail/hospitality/B2C environment with exposure/experience in HQ functions – show us you understand our diverse employee population and what it takes to create genuine engagement.
- Strategic Vision:Demonstrated ability to align initiatives with business objectives and a forward-thinking approach to practices – tell us something we don’t know.
- Communication and Collaboration:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization – everyone matters.
- Pragmatic Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges with innovative solutions and to know when you have to roll up those sleeves and get it sorted.
- Adaptability:Thrive in a fast-paced environment, embracing change, and considering a large, diverse employee population
