FP&A Analyst

Annual Salary: £40k – £45k

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our accounts team, providing financial planning, analysis, and reporting support to the finance department and the wider business. This role is crucial in driving performance and delivering value-added reporting. The successful candidate will oversee the Assistant Management Accountant, assist the Finance Director, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Review the management accounts pack each month and produce commentary.
  • Ensure the accuracy of working paper support files that accompany the pack.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director for the review of final accounts each month.
  • Assist in the development, creation, and maintenance of financial dashboards.
  • Participate in the annual budget process and link financial models with outputs from buying and merchandising.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts and provide reporting support to the wider business.
  • Oversee the ERP system and implement solution enhancements for finance or the wider business.
  • Support reporting and analysis for Farfetch and other sales marketplace platforms.
  • Represent finance in weekly trade meetings and conduct brand profitability and retail sales analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACMA/CIPFA) and be either part qualified or finalist.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and confidence in communicating with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in management accounts and Power BI.
  • Excellent mathematical and numeracy skills with advanced Excel skills.
  • Methodical, organised, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central and Jet analytics would be an advantage.
  • A background in retail or the fashion industry is beneficial.
