Reed Finance are delighted to be supporting a third sector organisation in Reading to recruit a permanent Financial Systems Manager based in Reading.
This role is newly created and will take the lead, alongside the Finance Director, in developing their Anaplan system to ensure it is more effectively used internally and ultimately delivers better financial analysis and support commercial decision making.
Our client currently uses Anaplan as its annual budgeting and forecasting tool. You will lead and continue to drive forward the development of this system, initially focusing on building models to analyse programme provision and deliver profitability analysis. This will help to inform the major operational, financial, and strategic decisions to support profitability and long-term success.
- Lead the ongoing design, build, and implementation of the Anaplan planning system, further integrating it into all operational aspects of the business.
- Develop reports and key performance indicators (KPI’s) in Anaplan, to enable performance to be measured effectively.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the business and be able to translate complex processes into functional models.
- Set and maintain model assumptions.
- Provide first line user support for Anaplan and provide training to staff.
- Drive the financial planning by analysing its performance and risks.
- Assist in the development and standardisation of project costing templates and review progress against plans.
- Assist in all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and analytics, including annual planning, P&L forecasting and budgeting, and cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare and present insightful analysis to key stakeholders.
This is a pivotal role in this organisation and the remit of the position will undoubtedly grow as the functionality improves and the FP&A data drives improvements.
To be considered for this role you must have good Anaplan experience and a solid knowledge of finance and financial planning. Qualified accountants and those qualified by experience will be considered.
Competitive salary available up to £70k (doe) plus 31 day holiday + BH and a very impressive pension scheme. Hybrid working available.
