Our client is a successful and established company based in Stratford-upon-Avon, specialising in the financial planning sector. They are now looking to acquire the services of a hard-working Financial Services Administrator with the role offering significant career opportunities and progression for the successful candidate to be trained in Paraplanning and Financial Advising (if this is of interest). This is an excellent opportunity, which would suit an individual who is a self-starter, hard-working and resilient looking to work in a varied, dynamic environment, offering the scope for credible career development.

Main Responsibilities:

* Processing new business from cradle to grave; submitting and processing new business, ensuring all new business is recorded correctly and accurately.
* Ensure all client work is compliant and supported with relevant paperwork.
* Provide proactive administration support to ensure an efficient and smooth service.
* General administration; withdrawals and top-ups.
* Provider platforms – logging on to process applications and tracking progress.
* Initial valuation and providing support to the paraplanners.
* Answering the phone – being on the front line for client communications and dealing with customer requests.
* Exposure to areas of the business such as investments, pensions, mortgages, and insurance.
* Assisting advisers to prepare for client meetings.
* Keep up to date with new products and developments.

Key Skills & Experience:

* Previous experience in Administration.
* A desire to develop into a Financial Advisor.
* Experience working within Financial Planning is desirable.
* Effective and competent communicator, both verbally and written.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage own workload within a small team.
* Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Additional Information:

* On-site Monday – Friday – 9 am – 5 pm with an hour for lunch.
* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
