This role join a bustling finance team and will play a key role in the future development of the business by underpinning and supporting key commercial decisions with strong analysis and financial information to ensure that decisions are commercially sound and will advance the company further. This will include working on specialist projects and undertaking variance and trend analysis, whilst also supporting company forecasting and budgeting.

Role and Responsibilities

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

* Supporting key business decisions and risk prevention by preparing and delivering analysis regarding profitability trends in relation to products and customers
* Preparing weekly and monthly reporting on various aspects including re-marketing, order and deliveries and contracts, including fee calculations
* Administering periodical industry surveys to support business awareness and ensuring that targets are continuously met
* Delivering detailed and accurate forecasting and budgeting, including strategical plans by liaising with appropriate internal parties including department leads and teams to gather information
* Providing support on ad-hoc projects and tasks, including profit modelling and financial analysis presentations
* Proactively seeking ways to improve business processes via detailed analysis and reporting to highlight key areas of failing, suggesting plausible solutions and developing automated reporting tools

What You Will Need To Apply:

The ideal candidate for this role will be at least fully AAT qualified, and will preferably be studying towards their ACCA or CIMA qualification. Experience that is required for this position is at least 2 years within a comparable position supporting a finance team, and preferably within an analytical accounting role. Applicants should have a good aptitude for Microsoft Office and other software including accounting systems. Strong communication skills are paramount to success within this position, as well as good organisation abilities.
