Our client is a growing technology business who are part of a global operation. They seek to hire a Financial Accountant who is qualified or is at final stages. The role will offer a broad remit and cover most areas of Accounting.
• Responsibility for Group reporting to strict timescales
• Consolidation of monthly results under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Responsible for the yearend audit and statutory accounts.
• Month end procedures.
• Intercompany liaison and reconciliations with non-UK entities.
• Lease accounting.
• Responsibility for the capex budget and approval management.
• Fixed asset accounting (including hire assets).
• Responsibility for the overhead budget.
• VAT return preparation, filing and reconciliation.
• Intrastat & National Statistics reporting.
• Payroll, pension and P11d’s, preparation.
• Inventory process / stock take process.
• Oversee purchase ledger process and manage/review of payment approvals.
A salary of £45,000-£50,000 is on offer.
