Finance Manager, Consulting, Hybrid working, £60,000, 12M FTC (Likely to extend)
We are working with a very exciting design consultancy business who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team.
The company provide planning, design, management, and consultancy for underdeveloped areas in the world to help improve and progress communities and lives. They operate in 47 offices across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe. There are five design centres globally.
They helped build the world’s largest all-woman university and they have worked on projects across water and electricity to help countries rise after decades of civil strife.
The business are growing and need support in their finance team! We are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team initially on a 12m FTC to support on upskilling the function, driving efficiencies across subsidiaries globally and supporting the FC on day-to-day finance. This role will play a pivotal part in the team.
The Role:
* Daily review and Journal approvals
* Entering invoices, journals, raising sales invoices
* Inter-company reconciliations
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Weekly Bank reconciliations
* Archiving to group system
* Monthly cashflows
* Quarterly VAT preparation and submission for 4 companies
* Creating and issuing Sales invoices
* Credit control
* Preparing monthly management accounts
* Dealing with consultant and audit queries
* Supporting with various projects
* Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of group financial accounting policies
* Maintaining the relationship with the external auditors, ensuring audit deliverables are provided and audit queries responded to timely.
* Assist with various reporting and compliance
About You:
* Fully Qualified Accountant
* Previous experience in producing full set of accounts
* Strong IT and Excel knowledge
* Experience with Accounting software
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to meet tight deadlines
