About the Company:
Our client is a niche service sector business that has grown at an impressive rate with a very impressive offering a portfolio of clients. It’s time to add a dedicated Finance Manager to the ranks for the first time.

Role Overview:
As the Finance Manager you’ll be hands-on on producing meaningful analysis and commentary, you’ll be at the helm of the finance department, managing an accounts assistant. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

* Produce the monthly management accounts and reports.
* Implement financial controls and processes
* Handle year-end accounting and tax responsibilities.
* Submit VAT Returns.
* Budgeting/ forecasting
* Oversee the monthly payroll process.
* Balance sheet reconciliations,
* Manage invoicing, payments, and journals.

This would make a great move for an individual who is ambitious is looking to progress with the business, or maybe you are returning to the finance world and looking for an equally rewarding and challenging role. Ideally, you’ll have be an ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualified accountant with;

* A proven track record as a Finance Manager/Financial Controller in smaller to mid-sized businesses.
* Enjoy digging into financial data to understand the bigger picture.
* Have achievements in implementing financial controls and processes
* Can demonstrate their ability to influence decisions and drive process improvements.
