KennedyPearce are partnering with a well loved Media company hiring a Finance Director on an interim basis. This role will be hybrid working, 2-3 days in the office (London). This position will oversea 2 Qualified Finance professionals and is an integral part of the EMEA team; responsible for budgeting/forecasting, strategic planning and all close activities for the group. This is an interim role but has a strong possibility to extend longer than the initial 6-12 months or convert permanently.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the division by effectively managing all financial tasks. They will oversee the financial operations of the business and provide frequent financial reports. The Finance Director responsibilities:
Day to day:
· Maintain accurate financial statements and reports
· Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies
· Effectively maintain all financial records
Management:
· Leading the finance function, managing the team consistently
· Ensuring the team are receiving all of the training and support required
· Through excellent leadership help this business unit achieve its budget goals
Business partnering
· Build relationships with various senior stakeholders; operations director, regional sales director, UK sales director, Country Finance Directors
· Monitor and analyse cost saving opportunities.
· Business partner with the Country Finance Director to ensure efficiency and accuracy of overall P&L management
· Create and present financial findings to the leadership team, whilst identifying business implications recommending future direction
The ideal candidate:
· ACA/CIMA/ ACCA Qualified with at least 10 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis or commercial finance
· Previous media/TV experience is strongly desired
· Previous experience working in a global role working with senior stakeholders in Europe and USA.
This role will be paid on a day rate inititally. Please only apply if you are available within one month
