At our supported living service in the Lower Gornal area of Dudley, we provide quality care to six service users with learning disabilities and complex needs. This is a fantastic service which enables great outcomes for the people we support.
Support Worker Duties:
- Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users
- Promote the self-esteem, happiness and emotional health of service users, encouraging and supporting service users to express their needs, views and concerns
- Provide respectful personal care in accordance with the needs, wishes and preferred routines outlined in the individual’s personal support plans.
- Supporting with washing, ironing and the cleaning of individual flats and communal areas
This is a Part–Time role (20-30 hours per week). You must be flexible and able to work weekends on a rota basis.
