Event and Communications Co-Ordinator
£15.00 – £21.00 per hour depending on experience
Temporary for 3 months with a possible extension
Home based with a weekly meeting in Milton Keynes
Must drive as will need to drive to events across the UK
This is an exciting role working with a small business who support government bodies expand and grow, they have a number of projects and events in the pipeline that they need some help with. This role is extremely varied with a focus on stakeholder management, event coordination and comms for the business. Are you able to multitask and learn quickly? Do you enjoy a fast-paced busy role? Can you work to tight deadlines and problem solve where necessary? This may be the role for you…. You must have events experience and be highly organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
The role
- Event organisation and management
- Liaising with partners and stakeholders
- Managing suppliers/contractors
- Supporting the Director of Comms with a wide variety of tasks and duties, including proof reading, research and general admin support
Skills and experience required
- Event management experience essential
- Research experience advantageous
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise own workload
- Must be organised
- Must be Pro-active
- Must be a strong communicator
