An exciting opportunity has become available to work within a beautiful early years setting in the Thornbury area.
Facilities include 3 large play rooms and a sensory room which features multiple stimuli to encourage children to explore their senses safely and with a sense of adventure.
The team are very well-established, with most staff members having worked at this lovely setting for multiple years!

This exciting opportunity would see you performing the following duties day-to-day;
- Creating exciting learning opportunities for children and following their interests
- Working as part of a team to develop room routine and curriculum
- Observing, record-keeping, assessing and planning
- Promoting health, well-being and placing emphasis on the benefits of outdoor play
- Adhering to children’s personal care and ensuring a safe, hygienic environment
- Working within the law to safeguard children’s rights
- Creating positive partnerships with parents and carers
About you
You should demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team to provide good outcomes for all children. You should promote positive, inclusive practice and act as an excellent role model for other staff members. You should have a passion for early years education and a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You must hold a minimum Level 2 qualification (Or equivalent) in Childcare to apply for this role.
