Senior Finance Business Partner – Property Development – Manchester

The company possesses a strong track record of completed Residential and Student luxury apartment blocks in regenerated areas such as Ancoats, Northern Quarter, Media City and other hotspots in Greater Manchester, plus other key northern powerhouse cities. As a result of a huge injection of funds there are several new roles available to increase the size of the development team, to increase their pipeline significantly. – Also, an opportunity to fast track your own career and learn from the best and contribute towards deliver much needed new homes, residential, student and co-living luxury apartments.
We are looking for an experienced finance professional, qualified financial or management accountant who has worked for a property developer or construction contractor for several years. This experience will have provided you with broad industry experience to work within the development team to oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and control. The business has an impressive track record of completed developments, current pipeline and will be aggressively bidding for new projects in the Northwest and across the UK.
Key responsibilities:
• Take the lead on co-ordinating the production of the Development 5 year Financial Business plan.
• To lead the co-ordination and production of the annual Development team budget, including the production of monthly financial KPI update reports for presentation to the Board.
• To lead the production of monthly cashflow updates for all development projects – reporting to Directors the actual performance of projects to agreed budgets.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
• Full financial qualification – ACCA or CIMA / Chartered Accountant
• Minimum of 5 years experience working for a main Contactor / Developer in a Senior Financial Management role
• Proven experience of assembling Financial Business Plans and Annual Budgets
• High level knowledge of the construction / development process
• Staff management skills
• Proven track record of creating and using complex financial models in Excel.
Salary and package
• Salary up to £75,000 depending upon experience
• KPI Performance bonus scheme
• Based in Manchester city centre
