We are currently working with a highly regarded Training Provider in the Hertfordshire Region.
This is a newly created role and offers a great deal of autonomy and flexibility.
We are looking for a highly experienced Data and Compliance Professional with a deep knowledge and experience within Apprenticeship and Skills.

Salary and Benefits for the Data and Compliance Manager
• Salary up to £42000
• 26 days+ bank holidays
• Birthday off each year
• Remote working- 2/3 days per week working from home

Summary of the Compliance and Data Manager
This role oversees apprenticeship compliance for ESFA funding rules. It will involve managing data processes, collaborating with teams, and ensuring compliance.
Typical Duties: 
• Stay abreast of funding rules and provide training.
• Collaborate with the Apprenticeship team for compliance.
• Work with Finance & MI for financial transactions.
• Manage the contract database and EPA records.
• Oversee the learner evidence pack for audit compliance.
• Record breaks in learning accurately.
• Review PDSATs, support Business Development, and update paperwork.
• Manage apprenticeship completion processes.
• Review Off the Job Training and progress review information for compliance.
• Attend Performance Board meetings for data quality.
• Work with teams for up-to-date data and accurate reports.
• Collaborate with Maths & English delivery teams for ILR accuracy.
• Ensure ALS & Apprenticeship records remain compliant.
• Manage other audit and compliance activities.

Skills and Experience required for the Compliance and Data Manager
• Experience in apprenticeship funding and data, with knowledge of relevant platforms.
• Proven experience managing a data and compliance team in the Skills and Apprenticeship sector.
• Strong understanding of ESFA funding rules, application, interpretation, and requirements from audit partners.
• Proficiency in reporting systems like PICS and practical experience with e-portfolios and Functional Skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), analytical abilities, and presentation skills.
• Up-to-date understanding of apprenticeship programs and the learning journey.
• Detailed knowledge of apprenticeship compliance and funding rules.
• Experience in ESFA/DfE data compliance and audit regimes.
• Effective report writing skills for clear communication of audit outcomes and recommendations.
• Proven record of achieving performance targets consistently.
