The role is responsible for
Responsible for timely and accurate reporting within regulatory deadlines.
Undertake 1st line assurance activity to ensure adherence to the Organisation’s controls and quality assurance framework within the frontline operations teams.
Conduct in depth design effectiveness reviews across key processes within Operations, collating improvements and driving change as required.
Carry out investigations into potential fraudulent activity, maintain clear logs and providing guidance to Customer Services.
Handle Data Subject Access Requests in an accurate and timely manner, within regulatory deadlines.
Responsible for daily maintenance and accuracy of the company’s internal and external Knowledge Base systems, ensuring any change is controlled and delivered.
Skills / Experience
• Previous experience in a control’s environment, ideally within Financial Services
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Experience of sampling processes and quality standards
• Experience of providing effective feedback and coaching
• Strong understanding of risk and controls management in an operations department.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills
• Ability to influence and persuade others
• Ability to use Excel skills to analyse data effectively and produce clear reports.
• Effective, concise professional communication and presentation skills. Ability to tailor complex information to the appropriate level for an audience to gain buy-in to proposals, recommendations or concepts.
• A self-starter, with the ability to work independently on specified tasks and projects with the minimum of supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy maintained
