In this hybrid role (minimum 2 days in office), you’ll be:
- A Customer Service Champion: Build strong relationships, provide key account management, manage orders & deliveries (full lifecycle), and provide exceptional service across all channels.
- An Operations Mastermind: Onboard new customers & suppliers, manage 3rd party logistics, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- A Problem-Solving Expert: Tackle customer queries, analyse data, and implement solutions for a smooth operation.
- A Relationship Builder: Foster collaboration with colleagues internally; develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and 3rd party hauliers.
- A Tech-Savvy Professional: Utilise and contribute to improvements in our bespoke IT systems.
You’ll need the following skills and abilities:
- Great communication skills
- Ideally – previous experience in a similar role gained within a logistics environment
- You may have gained experience in transport planning or inventory co-ordination roles previously
- Really strong relationship development abilities and people skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good administration skills – process driven
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – confident user of IT systems
- Full clean driving license
