You will be working as a Supply Teacher for Secondary Schools across South Wales. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area a number of opportunities have arisen. These Job opportunities are on a day-to-day basis or for longer term periods covering an absence.
Your new role
You will have the opportunity to work in a job that is flexible around your needs. Working for Hays Education will enable you to work on a full time or part time basis to suit your commitments. Your role and responsibilities as a cover teacher will also include:
- Effectively communicate the work set by the absent teacher to students
- Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking set work
- Responding to any questions from pupils
- Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies which may arise
What you\’ll need to succeed
To be considered for the role of Hays Education it is essential you have:
- Hold a teaching qualification.
- The ability to manage groups of children and cope with challenging behaviour.
- The ability to build good relationships.
- Experience of 40+ days in a school we can reference within the past 5 years
