The Role:
This is exciting newly created role and as National Account and Projects – Corporate Sales Manager (Recycling and Waste), you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and market penetration within their parent companies National Accounts and Projects department. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies, building, and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside National Accounts and Projects within their parent company to identify and prospect potential clients within their current account portfolio.
- Collaborate across all their vertical channels and industries within theNational Accounts and Projects client portfolio.
- Generate and qualify leads through market research, networking, and collaboration with marketing teams.
- Conduct regular customer visits, understand their requirements, and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within National Accounts and Projects.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure agreements.
- Work closely with internal teams, including legal and finance, to finalise contracts and agreements with national clients.
- Forecast sales trends, set realistic targets, and develop action plans to achieve and exceed goals.
- Attend parent companies National Accounts and Project Sales meetings.
Experience & Knowledge Required:
- A confident ambitious Sales professional with experience dealing with prestige contracts.
- Ability to recognise opportunities and have a genuine passion and hunger to secure.
- Ability to hold credible conversations and experience presenting to Blue Chip board level confidently.
- Experience with both private and public sector bids and tendering.
- You will be a likable, happy, friendly bubbly character.
- Proven experience in B2B sales and account management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
