My client is seeking a talented and passionate Social Media and Content Manager to create and execute social media marketing strategies for their travel company. As the Social Media and Content Manager, you will be responsible for creating engaging and relevant content for their social media, email marketing, and website channels to attract and engage customers. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and content across all channels.
Day to day duties for the Social Media and Content Manager role;
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies that drive engagement and awareness.
- Create compelling and relevant content, including social media posts, email marketing, and website content to attract and engage their target audience.
- Perform analysis and tracking of social media and content marketing initiatives to measure performance and optimise strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and content marketing, and incorporate emerging trends to enhance the customer experience.
Skills and Experience required for the Social Media and Content Manager role;
- Proven experience in social media and content marketing, preferably in the travel industry.
- Excellent written communication skills with an ability to create compelling and engaging social media posts, email marketing, and website content.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to leverage data to inform social media and content marketing strategy and decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute creative and engaging campaigns that drive engagement and travel bookings.
