Highly Commercial Role / Remote with travel between sites / £50k-£55k plus £5k Car Allowance + excellent benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Manager to join a growing and successful business within the service sector. With locations across the UK, the role can be based out of the North East or elsewhere nationally. This is a remote role with travel required between various sites within your region. The successful applicant will be fully qualified and experienced within a fast-paced multi-site business. This is a superb opportunity to drive performance, taking ownership as the Finance Manager of your region.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the budget-setting process for your designated region of responsibility, adhering to the budget timeline;
- Analyse performance vs budget and identify variances, implementing controls and measures to mitigate deviations;
- Engage in negotiations with funders and external stakeholders to discuss annual and ad hoc fee increases, ensuring cost increases to the business are offset by revenue;
- Participate in periodic business and finance reviews with Senior Leadership and key stakeholders; and
- Identify areas for improvement and propose recommendations to drive performance.
You will be/have:
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA);
- Experienced within a fast-paced commercial environment;
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ambitious with a continuous improvement mindset
