Commercial Client Handler
Location: Burgess Hill – after successful probationary period there is the option of hybrid working
Salary: DOE + Great benefit package
Hours: Mon-Fri 8.15am – 17.00pm
Are you looking to work for a highly reputable and well-established brokerage that offers a fully funded CII qualification and profit share bonus, as well as being able to work hybrid after your qualifying period? If so, I have a great opportunity within my clients Schemes team for a proactive and dynamic Commercial Client Handler.
You will already have a proven background within the insurance industry and has exposure within commercial insurance products.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of clients over the phone and through written correspondence.
- Dealing with any policy amendments and mid-term adjustments.
- Generating and quoting on new business opportunities.
- Managing client’s policy renewals.
- Updating the in-house database accurately.
- Cross selling and upselling ancillary products.
- Dealing with general enquiries and assisting clients with the claims process.
- Sending out and chasing relevant documentation.
- Cross selling ancillary products.
- Adhere to company and FCA compliance and regulations.
- Build strong business relationships.
The right candidate will have the following skills to apply.
- Background within insurance, ideally commercial insurance products
- Great communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to generate new business and upsell.
- Good IT skills inclusive of using in-house databases.
- Be CII qualified or be prepared to start the journey to become qualified.
- Committed, reliable and professional.
- Confident and self-motivated.
