Quest Search & Selection are working for a retailer who is looking for a Commercial Accountant to support within this multi-faceted retail & food business. In this role you will need to provide business partnering support, including provision of management information and financial planning and analysis.
Your responsibilities as a Commercial Accountant role –
Own daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for assigned Brand & Group level
Perform period end close and review of all areas from Sales to EBITDA
Preparation of Timely and Accurate Management Reports
Preparation of Budgets and Forecasts
Reconcile Balance Sheet for specific brands accounts
System processing of invoices for designated brands
Being involved in all Commercial analysis and insight
Provide commercial business support to operations and brand leads
Process invoices for designated brands in the system
Resolving ad-hoc queries from operational & senior management that arise
To be successful in this Commercial Accountant role you will need –
Someone who is available immediately available or available within a month (this is a 9 month contract initially)
Qualified/Part ACCA, ACA, CIMA or via experience
You must have experience of a management/financial/commercial accountant level at an analyst, manager or business partner level.
Strong excel and finance systems knowledge / experience
Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to investigate, and resolve issues
Open to travel and stay over night when needs in their Jersey office.
Great communication/interpersonal skills
