Reed Engineering is excited to announce that they are working with a Global manufacturer in the Automotive industry, the business is known for delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the vehicle market, they are recruiting for a CNC Programmer on a full-time permanent basis.
As the CNC Programmer, you will program, set and run various multi axis CNC machines to specified instruction and using feedback from part measurements, manufacture high precision complex components and assemblies.
Responsibilities:
- To carry out engineering tasks using CNC and manually operated machines and hand tools.
- To use a variety of measuring equipment.
- To follow manufacturing layouts, routings, and control plans.
- To conduct front line maintenance and basic fault diagnosis within the limits of training on equipment used.
Skills and experience include:
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.

Programme, set and Run 4 axis and above, Fanuc control systems experience, Programme remotely, Gibs cams software
- Ability to understand GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
- Familiar with use of CAD models/ Solid Works or similar.
- Apprenticeship or experience in an Engineering related discipline; Mechanical, software, electronics, etc
