Type: Full Time only (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) (Term-Time Only)
About the role
As a support worker in school, you will work closely with the class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support for pupils with various needs, such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and Challenging Behaviour. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting pupils with their learning activities, both in the classroom and outside
- Helping pupils to develop their social and emotional skills and positive behaviour.
- Participating in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
· Right to Work in the UK (No Sponsorships provided) (Candidates with Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for the position)
· Applicants with experience as Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant can apply for the position too.
· Experience working with people with Learning Disability and Challenging Behaviour
· Prior experience in education not mandatory.
· Enhanced Child and Adult DBS (We can help you apply for it, if you don’t have already.)
