CAFM Operative

We are assisting an NHS client in London, to recruit a CAFM Operative to support the administration and updating of the Computer Aided Facilities Management to ensure it is representative of the managed estate. The position will initially start as a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent dependant on performance.

Key information:

  • Software used – MRI Evolution (Must have experience with this software)
  • Role will offer remote and flexible working.
  • Pension contribution of 8%
  • 25 days annual leave (Pro Rata)

Main duties include:

  • Ensuring that the correct asset information and retrospective PPMs are in place for all sites.
  • Manages the asset register to ensure it is up to date, accurate, and complete to enable the successful delivery of planned maintenance activities. This includes for instance, and as required: uploading data; recording site openings or closures; adding, amending, or decommissioning physical assets.
  • Produces regularly scheduled reports and dashboards to support the operational management and monitoring of the Hard FM service delivery. Further ad-hoc reports, analysis of data and/or trends relating to the CAFM system data, are also produced as required.
  • Attends mandatory training and any other training appropriate to the role. This is to maintain existing and develop new skills as required to carry out the work.
  • Flags areas identified as non-compliant, such as where tasks or documentation are not completed, for review to the appropriate Hard FM team member.
  • Supporting the management of users, roles and accounts. This includes adding, removing, and managing permissions for users of the system, e.g., staff, suppliers and contracted staff going to sites.
  • Acts as a point of contact for users of CAFM within Trust. Troubleshoots and resolves issues where possible. Escalates as appropriate to CAFM system supplier to resolve any faults or errors in a timely manner.
