The temporary role sits within the SEND Service. The work of the SEND team is governed by the SEND Code of Practice regarding the identification, assessment and provision for pupils with special educational needs and the issue of Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans.
As part of our statutory process pupils and young people who have an EHC Plan and, are moving to the next phase of their education i.e. from Infant to Junior school or Junior/Primary to secondary, the LA is required to amend their EHC Plan and issue a Final Amended EHC Plan by February 15th each year.
