Role Purpose: Reporting to the Global Head of Business Performance, this role is crucial for delivering Management Information across Our client’s Insurance Manufacturing and Partnerships Distribution. Responsibilities include monthly reporting, forecasting, and annual planning, supporting key decision-making forums.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Management Reporting:
Prepare consolidated MI for insightful analysis, ensuring proper data controls and value-added commentary. Lead enhancement of Partnership metrics, establishing processes and controls for reporting with useful commercial insights. Support ESG reporting framework creation for the Insurance business. Drive business planning for international markets, assessing and challenging plans.
2. Transformation and Business Developments:
Provide advice on performance measurement and reporting control environment. Recommend methods for improving financial processes, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings. Support projects and ad-hoc requirements. Aid in the transition of IFRS 17 tools into business as usual management information.
3. Business Partnering:
Lead partnering with the Head of Insurance Distribution Partnerships. Key contact for Global WPB and CMB Business Performance functions on distribution partnerships. Liaise with International markets to ensure support for Global Insurance reporting processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Chartered Accountant or similar professional qualification preferred. Collaborative approach to working within and across teams in multiple locations. Drive for leadership, accountability, and standard-setting. Interest in continuous learning, particularly through the transition into IFRS 17 reporting. Understanding of life insurance industry, including IFRS 17 fundamentals and capital frameworks. Strong financial background, including understanding of financial markets. Strong teamwork ethic, ability to build relationships, and self-drive commercial solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
