We’re currently working with a family run business, based in the Pontefract area, who are needing an experienced Bookkeeper to join their business on a maternity cover contract. The contract will run for 12 months and the successful candidate will be required to support the Finance Director with:
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Bank reconciliation
- Preparing and processing payments
- Credit control and cash allocation
- Collating month end information
- Preparing and posting journals
- Accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- VAT returns
- Year-end assistance including audit prep
