Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in the Barnsley area as they look to recruit an established Bookkeeper into their team.
Some duties of the Bookkeeper will include:
- Enter daily accounting transactions
- Record and monitor fixed assets
- Carry out and check bank reconciliations
- Prepare supplier bank transfers
- Monitor customer payments and reminders
- Prepare, account for and file tax and social security returns
- Prepare monthly reports and a documented review file
- Participate in regulatory audits by providing information requested by auditors
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and legal reports
- Monitor accounting and tax law
- Prepare and declare VAT
- Carry out invoicing, monitor invoices follow up
- Monitor specific international payments
- Monitor international regulatory developments for foreign payments
Person Specification:
- Previous experience within an all round accounts role
- Good communication skills
- Good with computer systems
