Job Role: This particular role is based within the Neuro Therapy Department in Bournemouth Hospital. The Speech and Language Therapist will provide assessment, treatment, and support to stroke survivors with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. Your role will encompass a range of clinical and therapeutic tasks aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals affected by stroke. Sirona Medical will be providing the Speech and Language Therapist to The Royal Bournemouth Hospital. You will be representing Sirona Medical and the Trust.
The role is one Speech and Language Therapist Monday to Friday 08:00am – 16:00pm
As a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, you must have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy with a minimum 6 months solid experience in an NHS Establishment.
You will be required to accept responsibility, with support and direction to effectively manage a client caseload with associated specialist support needs.
To ensure that appropriate and up-to-date client records/files and computer information system is maintained and kept with due regard to confidentiality.
To act in accordance with HCPC registration requirements and Code of Conduct for exercising accountability and professional practice.
To provide professional provide assessment, treatment, and support to stroke survivors with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. Your role will encompass a range of clinical and therapeutic tasks aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals affected by stroke.
This Job will be busy and fast-paced, you will be expected to work in a calm and effective manor, as well as communicate well with other members of staff and patients alike.

Previous experience and/or qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy are essential to apply for this role.
