Assistant Brand Manager – Maternity Contract
Location: Harrogate
Salary: £30,000
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Our client is an innovative consumer product company and they are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for an opportunity to start their marketing career. You might be a marketing graduate with some previous work experience, or someone that has already worked in marketing and looking for more experience and the next step in their career. You will be joining an experienced and dynamic marketing and brand team who will give you exposure to a wide range of duties and responsibilities. We are looking for someone available to start by the end of January. It will be a minimum of 6 months but likely to be 12 months.
The role will be supporting the Brand Manager with packaging and artwork projects, liaising with key stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met, producing internal communications, uploading content to social media, liaising with influencers and content creators, helping coordinate events, supporting the sales team with customer presentations and working closely with the category, brand and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating packaging and artwork change projects, liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring deadlines are met
- Providing system and admin support on NPD projects
- Dealing with sample requests, ordering products for the marketing team, handling product queries
- Working closely with the category team, producing reports to identify opportunities for growth
- Producing internal communication and updating the sales teams on brand plans and NPD Launches
- Updating social media,
- Managing branded merchandise and display materials
- Supporting the sales teams, producing customer presentations, sample requests and asset requests
- Supporting on event coordination
Requirements: Skills, Qualifications
- Marketing degree or qualification desirable
- Previous marketing experience desirable
- An interest or experience in social media content desirable
- Strong project coordination skills
- Previous work experience is essential
- Confident, driven and keen to learn
