Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within Stark UK which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector predominately Housing Associations, Local Authorities and maintenance social housing contractors. Our JPS contracts are buoyant and busy outlets solely focused on our contracts with the local council or housing association.
We have recently secured a fantastic supply solution with a large national maintenance contractor which will incorporate a specialist dedicated store located in our former Jewson branch in Redditch providing a service managing and supporting their kitchen and bathroom programme and associated products. In addition we will utilising the hub to support existing social housing contracts which will grow and involve managing van stocks and a wide range of building maintenance materials including plumbing, electrical and ironmongery.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our JPS team (Jewson Partnership Solutions) and manage this store servicing these contracts.
Based on a Jewson site which recently closed in Redditch, the focus of this role is leading a small team with stock management, product availability, monitoring van spares, arranging deliveries / collections and overall delivering an excellent service to our client and their tradesmen. As this role supports the local housing association you will need to have a strong knowledge of building materials, this could be from a roofing / plumbing / builder’s / trade merchant / DIY outlet background.

Experience / Skills:
· Ideally a background in Building Merchants / DIY or related and working with social housing customers
· Knowledge of the local area would be beneficial
· Great customer service skills
· Good attention to detail and organisational skills – basic understanding of excel and word essential.
· Experience of management and working within a small team.
