OVERVIEW: ASBESTOS TRAINER / AUDITOR
We are looking for an individual with suitable ability and background who feels they have the right skills and attributes to join an established team as a trainer/auditor and who has solid experience in the asbestos industry.
Once fully trained you will be expected to fulfil a range of activities including delivery of online and face to face training, remote and face to face Asbestos audits and IQA activity for Asbestos related NVQs.?
Whilst candidates who are qualified and / or experienced within a training/teaching capacity are desirable, applications from those looking to develop their skills and capabilities into of this role will also be considered.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: ASBESTOS TRAINER / AUDITOR
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferably working within the hazardous waste sector
A teaching and/or assessing qualification at Level 3 or above (desirable*)
Relevant industry competence qualification(s) i.e. BOHS P402 (or equivalent) and BOHS P403 and P404 (or equivalent) or S301 (W504) with CoCA
Excellent working knowledge of asbestos surveying and regulations
Full driving licence
Experience of Licensed Asbestos work and experience of Licence renewals is crucial to this role.
The individual will have an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach to work. ?You will have good communication skills, take pride in your work and relish a challenge. You will be based at a Training Centre in Darlington with some requirement for travel and overnight stays within the UK.
