Area Sales Manager – Electrical Wholesale Sector

- Salary: basic salary of up to 45k pa plus commission earning potential plus car allowance
Our client is a leading player in the electrical wholesale industry, committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients. With a strong reputation for innovation and reliability, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an Area Sales Manager.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing sales activities in a designated geographical area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the electrical wholesale sector, excellent relationship building skills, and a passion for driving sales success.
The role covers a large geographical territory requiring travel across the region and 1-2 overnight stays a week.
Duties will include:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Research and secure new clients
- Build relationships with existing clients and maximise revenue streams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to make informed business decisions.
- Provide regular reports on your sales performance and market trends to senior management.
- Conduct negotiations and close deals to ensure business growth.
- Stay updated on industry products, technologies, and market dynamics.
Successful candidates must be able to demontsrate the following:
- Proven experience in field sales managing a territory
- Sales experience in the electrical wholesale sector would be beneficial
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical products and industry trends would be a bonus
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
