Nurseplus are looking for an Area Manager to take operational responsibility for the regional area branch network. Driving performance through leading, managing and developing the branch teams, to maximise the sales and profitability potential of the regional branch network. We are looking for someone who can deliver KPIs through effective business planning, performance management, championing operational excellence and maintaining strong relationships with branch teams, internal support functions and external stakeholders.

The main duties of the Area Manager role include:

  • Oversee area performance against KPIs and manage P&L within budget for profitability.
  • Maximize sales performance and suggest new office opportunities based on local demand.
  • Monitor competitor activity and offer strategic recommendations to the executive board.
  • Visit branches regularly to ensure adherence to best practices and communicate objectives.
  • Develop effective communication strategies and manage branch managers for optimal performance.
  • Encourage analysis of local markets, assist in winning and retaining clients, and strategise for long-term success.
  • Ensure legal compliance, promote equal opportunities, and handle HR issues professionally.

  • Previous multi-site operational leadership and management experience
  • Business acumen with experience of analysing data and insight to develop commercial decisions
  • Current UK driving licence and a willingness to travel
