The job –

Reed Practice have been engaged to recruit a new Accounts Supervisor, a post that is a path to management, in a dynamic, fun, and dedicated Outsourcing team.

The Accounts Supervisor will assist with the delivery of assignments, whilst mentoring and developing junior team members.

Working closely with the Accounts Manager, your periodic responsibilities include:

• Preparing management accounts, year-end financial statements (closing and preparing) and FCA compliance reports.

• Creating VAT returns

• Reconciling and managing balance sheet accounts

• Generating budgets and cashflow forecasts

• Preparing FCA Compliance reports

• Running year-end closings

• Preparing analysis of accounts

Other tasks include completing ledger operations, maintaining timesheet data for accurate billing, account, and bank reconciliation, liaising with clients, processing expense reports, purchase, and sales ledger administration.

To be considered for the Accounts Supervisor position, it is essential that you have similar experience within a UK accountancy practice.

You will preferably have proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements to FRS 105, 102, IFRS and FRS 1021a. Other knowledge will be in preparing corporate tax returns.

You will be qualified or part qualified ACCA, ACA (or equivalent) and on a personal basis display a strong commercial acumen, exude confidence, able to develop and maintain sound relationships with those at all levels, display initiative and be motivated to succeed.
