Jenson Fisher are delighted to have been engaged on a retained basis by our client, an innovative and established firm of chartered accountants with a strong network of offices across Fife, to recruit an Accounts Senior on a permanent, full time basis. The Accounts Senior role will suit a confident, competent and Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA or similar although consideration will be given to those Part Qualified or QBE) who possesses a strong background working in practice alongside a desire and passion to deliver a first class service to a diverse client base.
On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of accounts for a portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Truly manage your own portfolio of clients including attending face to face and virtual meetings.
Preparation of year end financial statements.
Preparation of corporate tax returns.
Preparation of VAT returns.
Lead and mentor trainees and accounts assistants within the firm.
Exposure to business advisory work alongside the Partners.
