Our client an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team in Winchester.
This position has an accounts bias, and will involve being responsible for your own portfolio of clients including a mix of commercial organisations, non-for-profits, and a number of farming and agricultural based clients. You will also be undertaking some trust accounts, dealing with tax matters and VAT.
A knowledge of agricultural clients is not essential, but would be helpful, along with a good understanding of accounting systems such as IRIS and CCH (Trust) Accounts.
The hours of work are 8.30AM-5.15PM Monday to Thursday and 8.30AM to 4.30PM on Friday.
Preferably, you will hold a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA and ideally have a strong accounts background, with at least 3-5 years practice experience, although study support may be offered if required. You will also possess good communication and organisational skills.
