We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a role finance within a thriving and supportive work environment. Our account’s function is the backbone of our business and is central to ensuring that we consistently deliver a best-in-class service both internally and externally with our clients and suppliers. Key responsibilities:
- Credit Control Maintenance: Overseeing credit control processes to ensure timely and accurate collections.
- Invoicing Operations: Managing the creation and issuance of sales ledger invoices.
- Financial Analysis Support: Collating information from placement sheets for analysis and decision-making.
- Vendor Management: Handling purchase ledger responsibilities, including coding and processing supplier invoices.
- Financial Administration: Performing various financial tasks, such as bank reconciliations, credit card monitoring, payroll expense input, and assisting with ad-hoc finance duties as needed to support the Finance Director.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of financial experience in an accounts environment
- Sage 50 Accounts experience desirable.
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records.
