REED are recruiting for an ACCOUNTANT (ACCA, ACA, CIMA Qualified) or Part Qualified for an established Property Management Client Accounts Deoartment based near Ferndown.
On offer is an attractive salary range from £35,000 – £47250 depending on experience and 27 days annual leave +bank holidays and discretionary bonus.
Key Responsibilities
• Formal Accounts Production for year end and periodic reporting
• Financial Reporting – assisting Surveyors with the preparation and review of budgets
• Liaising with Property Managers / staff and clients to meet varying requirements.
• Preparing Year End Reconciliations
• Interpretation and reconciliation of new client data at the point of handover
• In addition to the tasks described above, you may be expected to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time
Key Skills
• Attention to detail and highly numerate
• Logical approach to problem solving and ability to view bigger picture implications
• An ability to manage multiple client workload to meet various deadlines
• Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
• Service Charge Accounting awareness is a benefit
• IT proficient, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel to perform required tasks. Access database also in daily use.
• Enthusiasm to provide the highest quality service to clients at all times
• Willingness to work as part of a team and ability to offer guidance / training to more junior members of staff
• Experience in Practice useful.
