Part-time Accommodation Manager

A unique opportunity has arisen at to join our client’s Accommodation and Conference team as their Accommodation Manager. This diverse role will see you managing all aspects of accommodation administration and logistics as well as managing 3 direct reports who supervise the Housekeeping Team. This is a fast-paced and client facing role where you will act as first point of contact for any accommodation related queries or requirements. If you enjoy a varied day, ownership of facilities or accommodation management and contributing as a team player, this may be the role for you!

Please note that this role is fully office-based in central Oxford. This is a 30 hour per week role which can be spread across 5 days or condensed into 4 days.

Part-time Accommodation Manager Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
• Management of all building facilities including accommodation and educational spaces
• Line Management of three direct reports who in turn support a housekeeping team of 26
• Coordinating the booking of accommodation using bespoke booking system
• Managing all student related queries and communication related to maintenance
• Supplier and contractor management
• Managing inventory of accommodation furniture
• Any adhoc administrative duties related to accommodation management

Part-time Accommodation Manager Experience Essentials

To be successful in this role, you will be an organised administrator with experience in accommodation or facilities management. This role may suit an individual from a hospitality background seeking the next step in their career. Equally, a strong administrator who has an understanding of logistics, highly organised and has gained exposure to using booking systems and planning. This is a leadership role therefore people management and interpersonal skills are key. You will need to be a strong communicator, team player and problem solver.
