The successful applicant will have:
A genuine interest and enthusiasm for IT support and management of IT systems.
A background in IT including previous support experience.
A background in networking and virtualisation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to identify, analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a server or network administration type role.
You should ideally have some experience in the following;
VMware vSphere, vCenter and ESXi (or similar)
SAN troubleshooting and support (Dell Equallogic, HP 3PAR)
Cloud (AWS, VMware Cloud Foundation)
Check Point or Cisco network firewall (or similar)
Network support and administration (Cisco, HPe)
It will be beneficial if you have:
Windows desktop and server operating systems.
Encryption/Cryptography/HSMs
PRINCE 2
MCSA / MCSE certification
CCNA / CCNP certification
VCA / VCP certification
ITIL Foundation certification / experience in an ITIL environment
