Morgan McKinley are currently working with a global education business in resourcing a Group Reporting Accountant on an initial 6 month basis.
Duties will include
Support the Senior Group Financial Reporting Manager in ensuring the external audit is delivered within the agreed upon timeframe by taking responsibility for deliverables during the audit planning, fieldwork and completion phase.
Provide key inputs in the preparation and presentation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Group’s accounting policies
Provide key inputs in the preparation and presentation of monthly and quarterly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet reporting for internal management reporting purposes, including undertaking consolidated balance sheet and P&L analytical reviews.
Document the accounting treatment of significant contracts or transactions, particularly for those involving material management estimates and judgements in a professional format and obtain timely sign-off from the Senior Group Financial Reporting Manager and where appropriate, other department heads and external auditors.
Assist the regions on reporting and accounting policy issues.
Strong Group Accounting Experience is essential as well as being fully qualified. This is an immediate start and will be hybrid. Offices are based in London.
