KM21 – Logistics Supervisor
Location: Burton
Salary: £30,000 Per Annum + Company car
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor/ Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- All Risk Assessments and Method statements (RAMS) are completed and up to date for each customer site.
- Minimum standards of performance by team are reviewed and adhered to.
- Customer sites are visited on a regular basis, ensuring customer feedback is captured and addressed.
- Ensure the rota is maintained and adhered to, including the cleaning rota.
- Completion of quarterly Logistics Operatives PDR’s.
- Working with the Business Development Team and Projects team to organise and manage the installation of new customer bin systems.
- Ensure there is always clear visibility of all assets on customer sites, including value and descriptions.
- Organise and manage signed customer agreements for Free on Loan Assets.
- Management of fleet.
- Arranging monthly vehicle checks.
- Communicating with internal customers; Sales, Purchasing & Accounts.
- Answering any queries or questions from internal customers.
- Act on feedback from the Sales Team regarding customer concerns regarding management and maintenance of our bin systems.
- Delivery performance related statistics showing picking, delivery, and staff performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communications & negotiation skills.
- Logical / methodical approach to operations.
- Organisation, individual initiative, flexibility, and time management.
- Competent using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
- Experience with stock & accounting software such as SAP or SAGE favourable.
- Computer literate and can solve basic IT issues.
- Clean driving License.
