ServiceNow Engineering Lead

Hybrid 

We have partnered with a global organisation based in the Crawley area to assist in the hire of a ServiceNow Engineering Lead. The ServiceNow Engineering Lead will be involved in the design, configuration, testing, corrections and documentation of complex ServiceNow configurations and scripts. Working from agreed specifications and follow on amendments using the organisations agreed standards and tools.

Role responsibilities:

? The design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended ServiceNow

components from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes

? The incremental and logical integration and testing of ServiceNow components and/or subsystems and their interfaces in order to create operational services

? The provision of specialist expertise to facilitate and execute the installation and maintenance of ServiceNow and other related ITSM and integration ServiceNow

? The tracking and monitoring of ServiceNow performance

? The diagnosis and remediation of ServiceNow incidents and problems

? Responsible for ensuring ServiceNow meets agreed service level targets

Skills required:

? Knowledge of the IT/IS infrastructure (hardware, databases, public/private cloud, operating systems, intelligent SAN, SaaS, middleware/SOA, local area networks, Lan, WLan, Wi-Fi etc) and the IT applications and service processes used within

? Techniques for identifying, gathering and validating customers needs in the delivery of IT services.

? The activities, structure, and position in the organisation of the functions or departments for which services are provided. Examples: sales, engineering, marketing, production, accounting and administration.

? The economics of service delivery such as the cost per service line in terms of hardware, software, and manpower used to deliver the service.

? The purpose and composition of a service level agreement (SLA); the relationship between an SLA, an OLA and an underpinning contract for the supply of services.
