About the team

The Business Technology Group, with the assistance of a number of key third party suppliers, supports approximately 2000 users across offices predominantly in the UK but with exposure to some global offices also.

About the role 

  • You will work closely with an established IT Team in London and across the UK to help deliver support to the AV functions and meeting room technologies including Teams, Zoom, Poly, Crestron and Surface Hub. Providing assistance remotely and in person, ensuring AV equipment across the country is in good working order
  • The Service Delivery IT Consultants are based onsite, working closely with customers face to face and over Teams calls/emails dealing with level 2 tickets using Service Now
  • Working with external Service Desk and the internal Operations, Applications and Front of House teams, liaising with them to facilitate the delivery of customer focused support solutions
  • Working to a rota shift pattern covering from 8.00 to 18:00. This is an AV role, but some IT support will be required

Audio Visual Support + Service Delivery

  • Provide basic support and assistance to employees, VIP partners, and clients for AV and meeting room equipment
  • Assist in organizing basic user training and guidance for team members and users
  • Assist in creating and connecting meetings primarily on MS Teams, with a basic knowledge of other conferencing platforms and technology
  • Assist with media room support for recording hardware, with a willingness to learn camera, sound recording, and editing
  • Assist in providing onsite support for new room device commissioning
  • Assist with routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
  • Assist in creating simple documentation and user guide
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of Incidents and Service Requests transferred from the Service Desk to the Level 2 onsite support queue
  • Assist in updating ServiceNow cases in your queue, ensuring prompt and accurate logging of calls, notes, progress, and required actions
  • Assist in identifying basic Problem tickets and Service Desk trends
  • Learn to work based on ITIL standards and processes, ensuring adherence to procedures and suggesting improvements as appropriate
  • Collaborate with training services to support end users in effectively using workplace, meeting room, and collaboration equipment
